LIA / DanceMusicTheater Projects

Based on the sound recordings of the “Songs of(f) Stage – Dedicated to Mauricio Kagel”, an experimental space-sound-body-theatre at the Mozarteum University Salzburg (1998), the “Songs of(f) Stage” were created in a SoundArt format in the year 2004. In this aesthetic research project the sound recordings from 1998 were decomposed, newly contextualized, recomposed, newly arranged and designed. Helmi Vent (idea, concept, composition), Isabeella Beumer (voice art) and Michele Gaggia (sound recording [1998], editing, mastering [2004]) collaborate. The arrangement and sound design of the project emerged from the experimental working process with Michele Gaggia (DNS Studios) and Helmi Vent.

The four-part film series from March 2021 documents walk talks in Salzburg’s Mirabellpark. Reason for the talks: the book publication by Karin Mairitsch from September 2020: Helmi Vent – Lab Inter Arts. Insights into the Performance Lab „Hätte Hätte Fahrradkette“ [shoulda woulda coulda]

The film “Hätte Hätte Fahrradkette [shoulda woulda coulda] – A Performance Lab” documents the process of the Lab Inter Arts project of the same name with students from different fields of study at the Paris-Lodron University Salzburg and the Mozarteum University Salzburg in the winter semester 2015-16.

A Lab Inter Arts Project on the focus area “Science&Art”, University of Salzburg and Mozarteum University Salzburg, featuring a summary of lab excerpts in the film “Hätte Hätte Fahrradkette. A Performance Lab” (see Trailer).

The film "Next Door", edited 2014, documents the socio-cultural project "Life Artists – Life Art" from the academic year 2012-13 in Salzburg. The focus is on encounters between people on their various stages of life on site. Focus of the encounters: Swap and exchange with creative means.
