The film documentary about the second part of the intercultural project work in India will be cause for joint reflections (September 2011) on the previous laboratory attempts in Goa and Mumbai (2009 and 2010)

About the Project

After the first project phase with Lab Inter Arts and the partner department "Drama" at the Kala Academy/Goa in 2009 (ConCom Goa 2009) and the second project phase in open spaces in Mumbai in 2010 (ConCom City Walks Mumbai 2010), a third project phase, taking place in September/October of this year, will be devoted to review and reflection. The 40-minute film documentary of the second project phase, entitled "City Walks Mumbai 2010", is intended to initiate joint reflection with previous partners in India and any other interested parties, who are cordially welcome to participate.

The joint discussion about the film will focus on the question of possible concepts for a continuation of the project work in 2012, project work which we believe is a worthwhile and future-oriented undertaking from both the sociocultural and the societal perspective. What we hope to obtain, after our initial attempts at intercultural encounters, are evaluations, reflections and suggestions from people in the Indian cultural landscape in which we took our first steps – daring first steps with many, many question marks.
To recapitulate: We would like to collect suggestions for project continuations from interested parties in India. A selection of these suggestions will then determine the project concept, the constellation of persons it is to involve, its objectives and its locations, etc. for 2012.
